Meet the Staff

Lead Pastor: Mark Johnson

Mark JohnsonMark left a sales career in 2005 for Pastoral Ministry. He joined the staff of NDEFC as Lead Pastor in July 2009 and loves his new church. His passion is coaching and this affects much of what he does and how he does it. Whether he is leading the church, coaching or playing hockey, or counselling individuals or couples, he loves to see people living well balanced, healthy and holistic lives based on sound biblical principles.

Mark is married to his Bible school sweetheart, Tami, and they have three adult children.

Youth Pastor: Stewart Warnock

Stewart is a recent graduate from Trinity Western University holding a Bachelors Degree in Religious studies with a focus in “Christianity and Culture.” As a homegrown attendee of NDEFC, he is so incredibly blessed to be a part of the NDEFC team as of June 2011 as the Youth Pastor. Youth ministry has been a part of his life for many years as he served as a youth leader. He now continues to follow his desire to see the lives of young people changed by the power of Christ. Also, he enjoys music whether he’s playing it or listening to it, whether it’s hardcore or R & B; he loves it all. He brings his energetic and enthusiastic personality to ministry and looks forward to seeking God’s will for the youth of NDEFC.

Secretary: Marjorie Jobling

Marjorie is the part-time secretary at the church (Mon-Thur, 8:00 am-1:30 pm) and a full time wife to husband Rick and mother of two boys. In addition to her smiling face when you enter the church, and her cheery voice when you call the church office, Marjorie is a tremendous support to the many ministries throughout the church. From setting up coffee, to writing cheques, answering the phone, designing the weekly bulletin, or updating the church website’s calendar, you can count on Marjorie to lift your spirit with her “can do” attitude and pleasant disposition.
